So we all know (or should anyway) that it is important to get our kids involved in physical activity. Participation in either recreational or competitive sport is a great way to do this, however it behooves us as parents and coaches to balance participation with safety. There has been quite a bit of research activity recently looking at head injuries, or concussion in sport. This is important information to learn about so you can make an informed decision as to how your child participates in sporting activity.
