Ms. N. Zacharias, BPE, BMR PT, GCIMS

Nicole completed her undergraduate Baccalaureate degree in physical education at the University of Manitoba. She then went on to complete a Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation in Physical Therapy from the University of Manitoba in 2004. Since graduating she has completed postgraduate studies in spinal manual therapy and acupuncture. She is also certified in the Gunn technique of IMS (intramuscular stimulation).

Her clinical experience is extensive, including private practice as well as hospital-based in patient service where she worked at the foothills medical centre delivering specialized service in hand therapy.

Nicole excels in helping people recover from neck and back-related health concerns through the highly effective combination of IMS treatment with rehabilitative exercises. Her knowledge and expertise in exercise rehabilitation also sees her teaching core stability in National Spine Care’s Back 2 Balance Program. Her knowledge in rehabilitation and clinical skill has also been very effective helping people suffering from neck pain and disability in National Spine Care’s Back 2 Motion program.

Nicole’s interest in long distance running also allows her to assist athletes with their injuries as well as with performance enhancement.
